Kurgan City Hall reports to police about theft of company car by drunk driver

The car got into an accident with two injured; investigative actions are underway.

A driver of the Kurgan City Hall’s car got behind the wheel in a drunken state and got into an accident with two injured, local resident Ekaterina Alferova reports. The director of the Department of Road Facilities and City Improvement turned to the police, as the car was allegedly stolen.

“Since the employee illegally used the corporate car during off-hours, the corresponding statement was written to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kurgan. The culprit will face the measures provided by the legislation,” director of the Road Administration Denis Davydov wrote.

The department launched a service check. The traffic police department conducts investigative actions. The accident happened on March 24th.
