Chief drugs policeman of Khakassia works for drug dealers

The law enforcer informed drug dealers about prepared raids.

Former chief of department for combating illicit traffic in narcotic drugs of narcotics control directorate of Russia’s MIA in Khakassia cooperated with drug dealers. He informed them about prepared raids and received bribes.

In December, 2018, the law enforcer colluded with an operator of a channel of distribution of narcotic substances. The policeman promised the operator to find a reaver of narcotic substances the operator had owned for 50 thousand rubles ($760).

Investigators also determined that the suspect had informed representatives of drug business about intelligence operations carried out by law-enforcement officers.

Criminal case under item 3 of article 290 of Russia’s Criminal Code (Taking a bribe by a functionary). At the present time, his measure of restraint is being chosen.
