In the Khmelnitsky region, the police and special police forces have expelled crime lord Moldovan from Ukraine.
“The 38-year-old citizen of the neighboring state settled in Khmelnitsky a few years ago, where he committed a number of crimes, in particular, under part 3 of Art. 185 (Theft) and part 1 of Art. 309 (Illegal Possession of Narcotic Drugs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the press service of the National Police of Ukraine reports.
According to the police, after serving his time, Moldovan became an underboss. He controlled the supply of illicit substances to the prison.
Being aware of the court decision on his forcible expulsion, he was hiding from law enforcement agencies. However, on April 5, he was detained, taken to the international checkpoint Mogilev-Podolsky on the border with Moldova, and expelled from Ukraine with a ban on entry for the next 5 years.
