Witnesses reported that the owners and representatives of the 1520 group of companies of Boris Usherovich and Valery Markelov handed over expensive watches, jewelry, and vouchers for holidays in European resorts to the policeman.

Five colleagues of billionaire Colonel Dmitry Zakharchenko at the Interior Ministry GUEBiPK also received bribes from businessmen, Rosbalt reports citing its sources. Two witnesses testified.

According to the source, valuable gifts were given to the police by the owners and representatives of the 1520 group of companies, Boris Usherovich, and Valery Markelov. Zakharchenko's colleagues got Swiss watches and jewelry, but the main gift was a vacation in Europe and on island resorts with a private plane flight.

Law enforcement agencies verify the information received.

According to the investigators, from November 2007 to August 2017, the owners of the 1520 GC Boris Usherovich and Valery Markelov, as well as the banker Ivan Stankevich and businessman Dmitry Motorin paid 150 thousand dollars a month to the former acting Head of the Department T in exchange for patronage through law enforcement. The total amount of bribes was about 2 billion rubles.

Dmitry Zakharchenko was detained in September 2016. During searches in his apartments, 9 billion rubles in various currencies were seized. Money, as well as real estate, cars and parking lots, were reversed into state revenue at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
