Urals: City Hall’s accountant suspected of squandering more than $ 45,000

The Administration of Alapayevsk conducted a financial management check.

In the town of Alapayevsk, the Sverdlovsk Region, an accountant of the Mayor's Office was suspected of involvement in the misuse of more than three million rubles ($ 45,000) from the budget. The City Administration had questions to the employee after checking the financial management of the City Hall. Now, the police checks the accountant’s activities separately, URA.ru reports. 

“There is no final conclusion on the check yet. Now, the police officers began their checks,” said Alapayevsk Mayor Saygid Bilalov.

The documents are studied by employees of the MIA’s Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption.
