Earlier, the deputy head of the Ryazan administration was sent to a pre-trial detention facility in the same criminal case.

Moscow’s Basmanny District Court took the adviser to the Minister of Economic Development, Pavel Pushchin, into custody until April 12 on charges of bribery. In the framework of this case, at the end of last year, Sergey Pashkevich, the deputy head of the administration of Ryazan, his former adviser Alexander Zaikin and director of the local enterprise Detskoye Pitaniye(Children's Nutrition) Alexander Dvoretsky were arrested, TASS reports.

Previously, Pushchin served as Minister of Investments of North Ossetia and deputy chairman of the Government of Ingushetia. According to the investigators, Pushchin received a bribe on an especially large scale (part 6 of Article 290 CCRF). Dvoretsky was arrested while receiving a bribe of 1.1 million rubles ($ 16,700) from one of the suppliers.
